There are several creeks, ponds and lakes on the UF campus. The University of Florida has declared that all surface water bodies on campus are conservation areas.

Watersheds
More than 60 percent of the main campus falls within the Lake Alice watershed, meaning that most campus rainfall and irrigation eventually finds its way to Lake Alice. Outskirt areas of campus drain to Tumblin Creek and Hogtown Creek, and a few areas drain to internal depression basins.
